DignitE Modules

Your DignitE service is comprised of modules.  The modular approach enables you to customise your solution whilst ensuring that you don't pay for features that you don't need, making dignitE a great value for money solution.

The Base module is a required module as this contains the basic infrastructure for the service to function, including your service across the mobile phone network.

Please take a look at the details of the modules below.

Note: all pricing outlined below is in Australian Dollars and includes any applicable sales based taxes such as GST

Reminders Module

The reminders module is designed to assist the wearer to live independently by reminding them of appointments, activity reminders, and medication reminders.  These reminders appear on PAT at the scheduled day and time with a description of your choosing.

When a reminder is activated, it grabs the wearer's attention through beeping, screen activation and vibration, making it perfect for use by those with hearing difficulties.

Appointments and reminders can be scheduled via the My Account section on the dignite.com.au website.

Specific features are as follows:

Appointments:

  • Interaction with Google Maps to visually identify the location both when entering the appointment on the website, and displayed on PAT for the wearer
  • Ability to schedule up to 2 additional reminders prior to the appointment.  For example, you may schedule a reminder to leave 30 minutes prior to the appointment time and another reminder 1 hour before appointment time to get ready to leave.

Reminders:

Reminders are split into:

  • activity reminders, and
  • medication reminders.

Activity reminders are used for activities of daily living such as food, social gatherings, sports, general reminders (great for reinforcing concepts) or other activities.

Medication reminders provide specific instructions for taking medication, that you create using terminology that the wearer will understand.  Medication reminders also keep track of medication quantities and adherence to medication regimes.  You can alter quantities on hand or record the purchase of additional medication to ensure that you have an accurate value of the quantity on hand.  Coming soon, emailed reminders that medication levels are getting low allowing you to top up your prescriptions before medication runs out.

Reminders can be setup via the My Account section of the dignite.com.au website.

Falls Module

The falls detection module identifies if the wearer has had a fall and checks with the wearer if they are ok.  If the wearer is unable to respond to PAT's request, PAT will assume that the wearer requires assistance and will automatically contact carers for assistance.

PAT will send an SMS and email to the registered carers to identify to them that a fall has been detected.  This SMS and email wil contain the GPS coordinates of the location of the wearer which carers can then view on Google Maps.

Carers can then choose to contact the wearer by phone using PAT or contact emergency services for assistance
